  •  Germany, Federal Republic of Germany, the federal-state located in Europe, a member of the European Union, the G8, the UN and NATO. The capital of Germany is Berlin. The official language is German.
    Is bordered to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea to the north, the Alps in the south, the river Rhine in the west and the Oder in the east. Bordered to the north by Denmark, to the east of the Polish and the Czech Republic, to the south by Austria and Switzerland, and to the west by France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. Germany is a federal parliamentary republic of sixteen states.
         
  • Poland, the Republic of Poland - a unitary state in Central Europe, situated between the Baltic Sea to the north and the Sudeten and Carpathian Mountains to the south, in the basin of the Vistula and Oder. Polish administrative area of 312 679 km ², making it the 70th place in the world and the ninth in Europe. Population of over 38.5 million people, is the most populous 34 place in the world and sixth in the European Union.
    To the west is bordered by Germany to the south of the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south of Ukraine and Belarus, north east of Lithuania and to the north of Russia through an administrative unit called Kaliningrad. In addition, most of the northern boundary of the Polish coast of the Baltic Sea sets. Polish exclusive economic zone in the Baltic Sea is bordered by areas of Denmark and Sweden.
